ProudPolitics Canada is a multi-partisan organization which aims to diversify the face & voice of Canada's politics by increasing the number of openly LGBTIQ+ officials at all levels of government. www.proudpolitics.org
We’re now looking for someone to help support our fall 2017 leadership summit. We need a team player who can help us compile literature and develop an evaluation plan to meet our program goals.
Responsibilities
Specifically this volunteer position will involve:

> Perform literature reviews, secondary research and is responsible for assisting in collecting primary data, summarizing, analyzing, and citing information related to the organization’s goals and priorities.

> Provide assistance on matters related to program development, research, scheduling, logistics and preparation of documents and developing program evaluation practices.

> Coordinate information between key stakeholders and assist in preparing materials including but not limited to summary of research, presentations, meeting agendas and minutes, and proposals.

> Assisting in content development of the program workshops/events/seminars.
Requirements

> Experience performing research, literature reviews and analyzing research.

> Excellent writing skills

> Highly organized, self-motivated, and deadline oriented

> Independent – capable of following direction but with minimal supervision

> A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn, contribute, and proactively try things out.

Orientation and Training

> A one-on-one orientation and training session will be provided before the volunteer’s first shift.

> Ongoing support and mentoring will be available throughout the entire volunteer engagement.
Commitment

> This is an unpaid volunteer position that requires a minimum time commitment of 2-4 hours per week until October 31, 2017.
Location
-
> Work remotely from home, utilizing online platforms (Google Docs)

> Team meetings take place in downtown Toronto.
